We will be meeting in the next few weeks to discuss the next CCT event, which is likely to be in early April and about organising local activism in the Southend area. The event will be chaired by Giles.
Against the backdrop of a shift to the left in Greece and Spain and the spread of right wing populism in the UK and Germany, as well as the imminent General Election here in May, we need to explore what contribution critical theory can make to local politics. The question of how theory becomes practice is of course crucial at this point in time.
